R.I.P Joan Rivers

“It is with great sadness that I announce the death of my mother, Joan Rivers. She passed peacefully at 1:17pm surrounded by family and close friends. My son and I would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Mount Sinai Hospital for the amazing care they provided for my mother.

Cooper and I have found ourselves humbled by the outpouring of love, support, and prayers we have received from around the world. They have been heard and appreciated.

My mother’s greatest joy in life was to make people laugh. Although that is difficult to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we return to laughing soon.”

~Melissa Rivers

We continue to pray for Melissa Rivers, Cooper and the rest of Joan’s family and friends. Joan Rivers was filled with energy and love, she was 81 but you could never tell. She was always laughing and working. She’d constantly be flying from New York to LA to film Fashion Police. Joan Rivers death is just completely shocking to me. I’m just heartbroken.

She was taken to soon. She wasn’t done.

Keeping Our Fingers Crossed

Joan Rivers was rushed to the Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan Thursday morning after going into cardiac and respiratory arrest during a minor procedure. Her daughter, Melissa Rivers, and grandson, Cooper Endicott, flew from LA to NY to be by her side.
Joan was reportedly in a medically induced coma and was also on life support. Now, it’s being reported that Joan is in the process of waking up from the medically induced coma. Sources say she’s been showing small signs of improvement.
As for Melissa, I can only imagine how difficult this is for her as well as Cooper. Sources say she’s been a rock through the whole thing. Like mother, like daughter.

Please continue to pray for Joan, Melissa and Cooper.
May God continue to stay with them and give them the peace they need through this difficult time.
